About Me
Who is The Patrick Harris?
- The Patrick Harris. Born in Cool Spring, NC. Raised by art teacher mom. Painting and drawing as long as he could hold a brush or pencil. AFA from Mitchell. Showing in galleries and museums all over for the last couple of decades including with CPOP in Detroit, the NCMA in Raleigh, the Octane Gallery in Nashville, as well as The H87 Gallery in the Netherlands. Co-founder and President of Delurk Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC from 2012-2014. Owner and operator of The pH Gallery in Charleston, SC 2014. Closed that gallery and relocated to Statesville to help care for mother who then passed away. Took a break before getting back into the swing of things and now popping out all kinds of pop art goodness to the world.
Acrylic Painter Generally
I sometimes stretch out with some mixed media but I’m generally an acrylic painter on canvas.
My Inspiration
I’m mostly inspired by our trash pop culture but also by nature and by light and just observing who and what’s around me and how can I use that to express where and what I’m at and up to.
